Due to Basket boys being gone last time, the test will be next time and we did the review today. Test will be over Iowa Core Manual Ch. 1-7. Make sure you study your PowerPoints and study guides.

Class Review for March 5, 2009

The Crop Science class should be finishing up Unit Two for the class. They will complete Ch. 6 and 7 in the CORE Manual today in class. They will have a Test Next Week over Unit Two. The past week and a half we have completed the ch. 2-5 in the CORE Manual for Unit Two. We have been busy this past week with FFA Sub-district and I have been sick. That is the reason for lack of updates in the past week and a half. We will get back on track of having class updates each day. Thanks.

Class Review 2/17/09

Trevis you need to get your test done!!!!!! Rest of you we are starting chapters in the CORE Manual (Gray Book). You will need to read ch. 1 about pesticides. We went over Ch. 1. We will do questions over chapter one next time. Please take your books with you incase you get sick so you can keep up. Some of you can't get any further behind.

Class 2/13/09

Due to problems with the computers while taking the test and the number of students that have been gone we will try and get the test done today. If you are gone, which has been quite a few of you, we will try and get it made up on Monday or Tuesday of next week. We need to get this test wrapped up so we can move on. Remember the test is over chapters 1-3 in the crop science book. The PowerPoint's and the questions in those chapters would be a good thing to review. Let me know when you will be in to make it up!! Thanks.

Class Review 2/5/09

We need to be finishing up the chapter questions for Unit 1 (Ch.1-3). Most of you are done with all of them, but a couple of you need to finish Ch. 3. We reviewed Ch. 3 today and began working on the lab for unit 1. We will have the Unit Test early next week.

Class Review for 2/3/09

We reviewed Ch. 2. The students should be reading Ch. 3 and working on the questions at the end of Ch. 3. The Ch. 2 questions need to be turned in if you haven't completed them. Don't get behind!!! Remember to bring a 3-ring binder to organize the powerpoints we go over in class for each chapter.

Class Review for 1/30/09

Review chapter one. We started on Ch. 2 in the Crop Science book. Students should be working on the questions at the end of the chapter for review. Also, students will need to bring a 3 ring binder to put the powerpoints in. This will help you keep track of them for the tests.

Class Review 1/28/09

You need to be done with questions from ch. 1 in the Crop Science Text otherwise they will be counted as late!! We completed the two following review activities over Ch. 1 http://www.quia.com/jg/1566678.html and http://www.quia.com/jg/1566727.html. We went over the powerpoint on crop plant anatomy. When the students were done with those items they started reading Ch. 2 and doing the chapter questions.

Class Review 1/26/09

If you missed class you need to come in and get your NIACC Career Link Student registration form filled out. You need to read ch. 1 in the Crop Science book. You need to do the questions through the chapter while you read and the questions at the end of the chapter for your assignment.

On Wednesday 1/28/09 we will review ch. 1, go over the crop plant anatomy powerpoint, and we will do a couple of activities.

Remember pop quizzes are always a possibility!!!
